Curtis Partnership have partnered with a long standing, privately owned real estate business with large office and commercial property holdings in NSW and Victoria.
The Role
This hands on position will see you responsible for managing the day to day financial control of the business. Duties include:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing processes, general ledger journals and reconciliations.
- Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Cashflow management.
- Ensure timely compliance with relevant statutory and group regulatory policies.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Ensure maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounting systems and information.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- 5+ years accounting experience
- CPA/CA qualified
- Ability to manage a small finance team
- Willingness to be hands-on within a family business environment
- Industry experience desirable but not essential
