Company Accountant - Part Time 3 days a week

Your new company

This multinational company is looking to hire a Company Accountant on a part-time basis to look after their accounts for 3 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. This will be a stand-alone role and will report to the general manager and global CFO.

Your new role

• Looking after the AP & AR

• Reconciliations and credit card payments.

• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

• Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Monitor all transactions in GL

• Prepare financial management reports

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year-end close processes

• Support Payroll Processing from time to time.

• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

• Continuous support of budget and forecast activities

• Monitor and support taxation requirements

• Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses

• Other duties as directed by management

• Must have experience with XERO.

• Committed to a part-time assignment over the next two months.

• Ability to hit the ground running.

• Fast learner to learn the companies financials quickly.

• The ability to communicate with multiple departments of the business as it is a stand-alone finance role
