We are seeking an experienced Company Accountant to oversee the daily accounting functions of our business.
This role is permanent part-time 20-25hrs per week with flexible scheduling and up to 90% WFH.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll, superannuation payments, and BAS lodgement.
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including Foreign Exchange supplier payments (low volume).
- Provide financial analysis and support to management and external accountants.
- Significant workflow automation already in place. Report directly to the Managing Director.
Skills Required:
- Experience using ERP platforms like Oracle Netsuite preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or similar qualification. Preference given to CPA or CA qualification.
- High attention to detail with independent problem-solving skills.
