Job ExpectationsComplex OptimiserA fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Complex Optimiser within the Control tower team reporting to the Workflow Delivery Manager where you will join the pillar within the Field Services Business Unit.The Control Tower is an essential element of nbn’s overall vision to deliver better End User outcomes with improved economics. Pivotal to this vision is to effectively match the demands of nbn End Users to the best available field technician to resolve their needs.A bit about your roleThis role will manage the end-to-end completion of projects relating to both civils and network remediation across both Service and Network Types engaging directly with our Service Delivery Partners (SDP) to drive projects through to completion and escalate as appropriate when issues arise. You will proactively monitor and manage programs of work effectively to reduce EOT (Extension of Time) volumes through utilisation of and adherence to project principles of critical milestone management.Additionally you will ensure that work meets agreed upon timeframes such as Planned Remediation Dates, SMP Install Dates, Planned Completion Dates, Preferred End Dates, Pre-Install dates and a reduction of overall of hand-backs to nbn.You will also be responsible for OTD management of Service simplex handoff work orders post review by Tier 1 and Tier 2 for project creation and direct assignment to SDP to ensure that the SDP’s receive these work orders in a timely manner.A bit about youTo be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of basic networking concepts and knowledge of network construction, remediation requirements, service activation, service assurance, network optimisation and network assurance for S&D field force projects.The role will work closely with relevant nbn key stakeholders and SDPs to ensure that customer commitments are being met and as such requires an individual with demonstrated experience and ability to professionally engage with stakeholders.A more inclusive working worldnbn is committed to an inclusive, flexible, and supportive workplace where everyone can feel heard, valued, and respected.
