We have been engaged by an ASX-listed company to secure a Compliance Officer /Legal Support/ Assistant Company Secretary to support the company’s legal and secretarial team, as it continues to accumulate projects and growth.
Working closely with the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are managed and support the wider legal team through various ad hoc projects and administrative practices.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with corporate secretarial duties, including preparation of board and committee presentations and papers.
- Liaise with in-house and external service providers in other jurisdictions to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Oversee and maintain compliance administration, including corporate compliance reports, corporate register and compliance procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including contract and document management.
We would like to speak with individuals who have 2-3 years’ experience working across compliance, contracts or company secretarial support. This role also presents a great opportunity for a lawyer looking to transition away from a traditional legal role.
You will have exceptional communication skills, document management, high attention to detail and a roll up your sleeves attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly collegiate and fast-paced team of professionals who will appreciate and value your assistance.
