Due to the current incumbent being successful in another roel this outstanding opportunity to join a small team in the Adelaide Hills will become vacant in mid-June 2024.

This role will offer the opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise in compliance and governance in the disability and aged care space.

The role is offered part-time Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 09.00 - 15.00 onsite in our modern bright office in the heart of Stirling SA.

The Compliance and Project Team Member is responsible for the execution and completion of all compliance and governance activities which benefits the business and its continued growth. This position requires the individual to proactively undertake research, analysis and application execution of specific audits, compliance and governance activities.

  • Contribute to the design, implementation and coordination of all compliance and governance activities that deliver effective business outcomes and meet client service delivery needs.
  • Effective administration of project deliverables, including the organisation of resources, identifying project issues and risks and communicating these concerns with the CEO
  • Proactively undertake research and analysis of specific projects to support the development of key projects and improvements across the businesses.
  • Prepare bulletins, reports, presentation and other materials for different audiences and different purposes relating to Aged Care and Disability Services of the businesses.
  • Deliver on assigned projects and processes within agreed upon deadlines and quality standards.
  • Creation and reviewing policies/procedures relating to Aged Care and Disability Services, to ensure they meet the compliance and application requirements. 
  • Actively seek, research and action any potential tender/grant opportunities which align with business goals. 
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with Team Members.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration/Project Management and/or equivalent.
  • Understand and manage audits against business deliverables
  • Understand and manage compliance and governance activities for the disability and aged care sectors
  • Previous experience in Aged Care and Disability sector is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and seek support when required. 
  • Commitment to the values and culture of the organisation.
  • Strong ability to learn everyday new techniques.
  • Good analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
  • Flexibility and capacity to work/consult with a range of people
  • Neat and tidy appearance
