The Role – Compounding Manager
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be part of our Compounding Operations and play a critical role as the Compounding Manager. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong leadership capabilities to manage our Victoria Compounding site in a full-time, permanent position.
This role will be instrumental in maintaining effective people management, along with oversight of the production facility and ensuring both product quality and business measures are met. Customer relationship management both internally and externally, will be a key focus of the role. You will be someone that will strive for process improvement and refinement, demonstrates initiative and utilises your skills and experience to contribute to the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:

  • People leadership across the facility
  • Providing leadership development, coaching and motivation to all team members
  • Strategic workforce planning, including resourcing
  • Oversight of training and development plans for all team members
  • Oversight of implementation of EHS policies and procedures
  • Budget management
  • Driving Process and productivity improvement at the site
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are being maintained
  • Oversight of Quality incidents and investigations
  • Management of customer relationships
  • Point of escalation for all matters pertaining to the site
Key Requirements of the role include:
  • Pharmacy Degree, Science Degree or approved equivalent qualification
  • Leadership and Management skills (minimum 3 years’ experience)
  • Sound business acumen
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal/external customers
  • Negotiation skills
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in aseptic compounding
  • Knowledge of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice
