Compounding/Dispensing Technician - Medicinal Cannabis

We are looking for a technician to join our pharmacy in Banyo, QLD

The role is a non-patient facing pharmacy role (and therefore admin heavy).

You will be fully supported working alongside other amazing technicians and pharmacists. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking to enter the Medicinal Cannabis and e-cigarette industry, along with standard pharmacy duties. 

General duties will include:

• Dispensing medicines
• Simple compounding
• Ensuring correct paperwork is received when processing scripts (eg SAS B/APs)
• Work across various software
• Taking payments virtually
• Packing of medicines
• Freight management 
• Basic stock management
• Ordering of products
• Assisting patients via phone/email/app

We are looking for individuals who can join the team long term, are on time, meets deadlines and can handle multiple tasks at a time. Flexibility is also well regarded. 

Job Type: Full time

Salary: Pending role & experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with the option to work till 7pm also. 

Experience:

• Community Pharmacy: 1 year (Preferred)
• Familiar or have interest in learning about Medicinal Cannabis and vaping
