The team works on developing innovative technologies in 3D gaming scene generation, editing and beyond. Some example areas include (but not limited to) controllable 2D image generation, gaming style learning, video generation, 3D asset generation, Procedural Content Generation (PCG).
Responsibility
Research, design, implement, and optimize novel algorithms/models that lead to improved 3D scene generation performance or higher generation quality.
Summarize the developed algorithms into academic papers, standard contributions and patent applications
Requirements:Requirements:
Work on-site in Canberra at least four days weekly for six months or longer.
In a master or PhD program in computer science, electrical engineering, math, statistics, or related fields
Solid knowledge in deep learning and Computer Vision
Interest and experience in gaming development
Strong coding skills in Python, Pytorch/Tensorflow
Ability to communicate/collaborate with other researchers/engineers
Ability to think out of box
A big Plus for the role:
Published high-quality papers in Computer Vision, graphics, AI, Machine learning (e.g., CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/NIPS/SIGGRAPH, etc.).
Good understanding of state-of-the-art 3D generation algorithms
Related working experience/course work in 3D content generation, image processing or gaming development
