Currently we have 70 Solid families and we are looking to grow this to 120 families, with greater than 80% A Grade Players by 2024. Solid Foundation Concreting is a mid sized concreting company that services and meets the needs of owner-builders, investors and homeowners whose concreting needs sit in-between the large high end residential and commercial market. We are expertise in basements, factories, suspended slabs and commercial. We offer earthworks, formwork, steel fixing ,and concrete placement. Working with Melbourne's finest tier 2 builders and construction companies.

We are experts in contracting to tier 2 builders, constructing basements, factories, suspended slabs, Commercial Projects supplying concreting needs from high end Residential homes, and large Commercial Markets as well as the Industrial sector.

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Boom Operator who is also an experienced Line Hand to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating Concrete Boom Pumps and ensuring the precise and safe placement of concrete on job sites. Additionally, your expertise as a Line Hand will be crucial in assisting with various tasks related to concrete pouring, finishing, and maintenance of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Concrete Boom Pumps to deliver concrete to specified locations on construction sites.
- Work closely with the concrete crew to ensure efficient and safe concrete placement.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist with concrete finishing, leveling, and curing as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Boom Operator and Line Hand in the construction industry.
- Valid commercial HV & HR driver's license.
- Strong understanding of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
