TRN Group has been operating since 1966 and has a workforce in excess of 350 people in the civil engineering and haulage industry. TRN Group are involved in all aspects of residential, industrial and infrastructure developments for high profile private and public sector clients.
We are currently seeking a Team Leader to oversee the day to day running of our Concrete Kerb Crew.
The successful applicant will have previous experience with supervising a team, Concrete Kerb slipforming & finishing on civil residential construction sites. Previous experience operating a Gomaco GT3200 Paver with Topcon GPS is preferred. They will value the environment they work in and be expected to complete all tasks to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Organise and coordinate the slipform Kerb Crews; including personnel, assets and material resources associated with the concrete division
- Placement of slipform kerb, to the highest standards
- Operate the slipform kerb equipment in accordance with the relevant Work Method Statement (WMS)
- Minimise concrete waste
- Plan in advance and co-ordinate concrete deliveries via the TRN Group batch plant or external supplies with a view of maintaining continuous feed for the slip-form machines
- Responsible and accountable for a safe working environment, equipment cleaning and maintenance requirements and; reporting of safety incidents
To be successful you must:
- Have a current NSW drivers' license
- Have a WHS General Construction Induction Certificate
- Have minimum 2 years supervisory experience (field crews preferred)
- Have previous Concrete Kerb slipforming & finishing experience
- Have previous experience operating a Gomaco GT3200 Paver
- Have experience with or be open to be trained in GPS technology (Topcon)
- Have the ability to follow and give clear instructions
- Have strong communication skills
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in their work
