We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic leader to join the Central Queensland team as a Concrete Plant Manager at our Rockhampton Concrete Plant. You will be joining a strong team culture where personal and professional growth is valued and your contributions towards our success recognised. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Concrete Plant Manager is a multi-faceted role responsible for the concrete operations overseeing the daily management, operational and financial activities.
In your new role, you will:
- Lead and develop the team and manage Internal team performance
- Ensure truck cleanliness and accountability is met by each member of your team
- Have customer responsibilities such as; pricing, and dealing with general customer service enquires.
- Arrange community and market engagement activities and have frequent liaison with suppliers and vendors.
- Drive value for our customers
- Run and manage toolbox meetings
- Report and investigate onsite issues
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day management and site operations
- Monitor on site costs and maintain within Hanson business objectives
- Ensure plant and equipment are operating and available at maximum capacities
- Ensure maintenance and servicing procedures are maintained
- Review customer orders to ensure daily service levels are achieved
