Job Description:

As a Concrete Reo Steel Fixer, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring the accurate and precise installation of reinforcement steel in concrete structures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings to understand the layout and specifications of the steel reinforcement.
• Measuring and cutting steel bars to the required lengths, following engineering and architectural plans.
• Assembling and securing steel bars in concrete forms, ensuring proper alignment and spacing according to project specifications.
• Tying steel reinforcing bars together using various tying methods, such as wire, clips, or welds.
• Placing and securing mesh or cages of steel over reinforcing bars to provide additional strength to concrete structures.
• Collaborating with other construction professionals, such as concrete finishers and formwork carpenters, to ensure the overall success of the project.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Concrete Reo Steel Fixer in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
