We seek a motivated and skilled person with strong problem-solving skills for this diverse, full-time role within our concrete maintenance team. This role will involve travelling to many Mawsons Concrete Sites predominantly in the central Victorian region. Someone situated in the areas of either Echuca, Bendigo, Kerang or Swan Hill regions would be at an advantage. Experience in the concrete industry is not essential, as primarily we require an experienced trades person who is keen to learn and has established communication and organisational skills. Duties of this role include:
- Planned maintenance of a wide range of fixed plant equipment, including: Conveyors, cement silos, cement and agg hoppers, pumps and pneumatic systems.
- Compressor servicing and maintenance
- Planned day to day plant maintenance and upkeep.
- Attending site breakdowns, fault finding and arranging repairs
- Compliance with Mawsons safety requirements at all times
The successful applicant will have good diagnostic skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and be able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. A background in compressor and pneumatic systems would be viewed favourably. HR license or truck driving experience is not essential but favorable. A total commitment to workplace health and safety is essential. On-the-job training will be provided to help develop fixed plant maintenance skills and industry knowledge. A work vehicle, mobile phone and laptop will also be provided.
