Job Description
  • Initial point of contact for all conferencing and events enquiries, bookings and execution.
  • Maintenance of conference incentive database of key contacts/clients.
  • Prepare weekly forecast report delivering BEO’s detailing upcoming conferences and communicate all requirements to all collaborating departments.
  • Provide quotations for conference and events proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs ensuring revenue is maximized.
  • Co-ordination and hosting of familiarisation and site inspection activity including follow-up.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Hospitality or 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the Conference & Banqueting department.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within the customer service industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in various IT software systems: Microsoft Office, Delphi, PMS & CMS.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop and inspire teams.
