The Role
In this position, as the Configuration Manager in the ANZAC Systems Program Office (ANZAC SPO), using your experience of ship repair/trade/maintenance activities, you will work with our current Industry Configuration Team to coordinate, maintain and assure as necessary, the continual improvement of:
- Configuration Management Quality Management documents in accordance with Australian Defence Force (ADF) Configuration Management policy.
- Monitor and support the current Industry Configuration Team to ensure the effective delivery of Configuration Management enabling outputs.
- Coordinate, maintain and continually improve the Configuration Management related Quality Management documents.
- Assure the coordination of Configuration Management Risk Management activities.
- Support the coordination of Configuration Management interests in engineering compliance monitoring.
- Assure the effectiveness of the Configuration Status Accounting System.
- Ensure the currency of ANZAC Technical Data through the mandated Configuration Management Tools.

The Principal Engineer's team is responsible for:
- Technical Assurance and Governance,
- Configuration Assurance and Governance and
- Certification Assurance and Governance.

The successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years’ experience within an Engineering change environment with a strong focus on configuration management and/or logistics management of documentation.
- Be proficient in performing internal audit assessments and report writing.
- Have a trade qualification in either marine, electronic, or electrical engineering disciplines or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to represent the Anzac SPO organisation at relevant committees and forums.
