AddressKingifhser are are seeking reliable, committed and experienced Confined Space Labourer, must hold aConfined Space ticket, current first aid certification and white card, labourers must have at least 6 months' experience working in Confined Spaces in previous roles.
You will be entering and exiting Confined Spaces utilising fall protection system and carrying out deforming and patching works in underground pits.
About you:
- Hold a Confined Space ticket
- Hold a current first aid certificate
- Minimum of 6 months experience working in Confined Spaces in previous roles
- Identifying Confined Spaces
- Hazard identification and controls
- Atmospheric gas testing and monitoring
- Understanding entry permits
- MUST have experience or training utilising breathing apparatus.
- Strong focus on safety and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform excavation tasks
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
- Available for an immediate start from Monday 17/06
You will ideally have obtained the below units when completing your Confined Space training:
- MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit
- MSPER205 Enter Confined Space
- MSMWHS216 Operate breathing apparatus
- MSMWHS217 Gas test atmosphere
Duties include:
- Deforming
- Concrete patching works
- General site clean up and construction duties
- Entry permits
- Identifying hazard controls
- Setup of Confined Space tools and equipment
- Reporting to site manager of any safety hazards
- Spotting Confined Space works
- Atmospheric testing and monitoring - gas levels, exposure
