About the Position
Team Stirling is seeking an experienced and safety conscious Conservation Field Technician to join our Parks and Sustainability Business Unit. In this role you will contribute to providing attractive, safe and well-maintained parks, public spaces and environment for passive and active recreation that enables quality urban life while protecting and conserving the natural environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake driver and general labouring duties associated with development and maintenance works in natural areas conservation. This role also undertakes some administrative duties including plant start-up and shut down checks and reporting of plant defects.

About You
In addition, to be considered for this role, you’ll possess the following skills and/or qualifications:
Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management, Environmental Science or similar qualification or demonstrated field experience in a similar role.
Experience in working with native plants and care control of natural areas.
Considerable Experience in operating mowing equipment, hand tools and minor plant.
