We are currently seeking a skilled individual to support one of our prestigious clients, a global leader in renewable energy development. This unique opportunity involves aiding their offshore legal team on a large renewable energy project in Australia.

About the Role:

As a Construction Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's offshore legal team in Australia. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating the legal intricacies of the construction phase, ensuring compliance, and facilitating the successful launch of a significant renewable energy project.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal counsel and support to the offshore team
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to navigate construction-related legal matters
  • Draft and review construction contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis, staying updated with industry regulations
  • Offer strategic advice on risk management and compliance matters
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree
  • Proven experience 6 years as a Construction Lawyer within the renewable energy sector
  • Expertise in Australian construction law and regulations
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to commit to a 3 to 6-Month Contract
