An opportunity is now available for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join the Sienna Homes team. We are a multi-award winning Victorian owned and operated building company. Due to continued growth, we require an experienced Construction Supervisor to join the team and work on upcoming builds, with a substantial pipeline of work going forward.
Reporting to the Area Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage site activity in-accordance with the construction program
- Manage subcontractors and site labour activity on a day-to-day basis
- Take the lead role in on-site safety, including monitoring and correcting non-compliant activities or behaviour
- Ensure a high level of on-site communication and teamwork through regular on-site meetings
- Helping subcontractors meet their obligations of delivering high quality workmanship
- Weekly accurate reporting into Construction Manager
Experience/Skills required:
- Experience managing deliveries of small to medium construction projects – townhouse construction experience is preferable
- Ability to accurately interpret plans and specifications
- Competent computer literacy
- Use of developed software and systems for coordination of projects from site
- Ability to efficiently prioritise and achieve various project deadlines including accurate forecasts on monthly budgets
- Demonstrable negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong people management skills
- Showing an appetite to further grow own skills and knowledge
- Relevant trade base willing to work Medium Density Construction
