We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join the team in our high volume, high acuity major trauma service ED.
This Emergency Physician position is permanent part-time and based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus in Parkville. The position involves working in all areas of the RMH ED including Trauma and Resuscitation areas, Short Stay, ED Mental Health and AOD Hub, Emergency Physician-in-Charge and Doctor-at-Triage roles.
Your Opportunity

- Supervise junior medical staff, nurse practitioners, advanced practice physiotherapists and medical support officers
- Innovate to find solutions to today and tomorrows emergency care, quality and flow challenges.
- Become involved in teaching, research, quality improvement and administration in a world leading emergency department.
About You
- Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine
- Highly skilled in trauma, neurosciences, toxicology, resuscitation, education and research
- Committed to high quality emergency care and a preparedness to be innovative in finding solutions to the modern challenges of patient flow
- Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a constructive and positive way in a high-pressure environment
