The Organisation
The hospital provides allied health, ambulatory care, coronary care, emergency medicine (26,000 annual presentations), intensive care, general medicine, mental health drug & alcohol, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, pathology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery services. The service also has active hospitals in the home and primary community health services in the surrounding townships.
The Health Service strongly partners with the University of Western Sydney and Charles Sturt University, conducting research and providing training opportunities for medical students. The facility has strong partnerships with several Universities, providing student clinical placements, education and patient referral opportunities.
The Job
- As a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will provide contemporary, expert specialist medical services that contribute to optimal patient care
- You will communicate and collaborate effectively with medical colleagues and team members to ensure quality and continuity of care
- You will deliver evidence-based clinical services following best practices
- You will have an opportunity to supervise and educate junior medical staff and other relevant staff to foster safe clinical practice
- You will participate in an on-call roster
Rewards
- Competitive remuneration of $365,000 to $400,000

Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or equivalent
