The Organisation
This regional health service is the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne and supports a population of 250,000 people throughout North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. It is a dynamic organisation undergoing significant growth, that includes the development of new state-of-the-art Emergency and Mental Health facilities.
The health service has seven operating theatres located over two acute sites providing General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Plastics and Paediatric Surgery services.
The Job
- As a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, you will provide emergency, outpatient and elective orthopaedic surgery services
- You will participate in rostered clinical & x-ray meetings, ward rounds, and unit meetings in the Orthopaedic Surgery on-call service as rostered
- You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills and supervise, support and train medical students, junior medical officers and registrars on-site in theatres, wards and clinics

Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), or equivalent
