Consultant Paediatric Infectious Diseases - Antimicrobial Stewardship

Location Clayton, VIC Description Join our team as a Paediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Physician, a part-time ongoing position to work at Monash Children's Hospital, Clayton. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the expansion and implementation of new Antimicrobial Stewardship Service initiatives across Monash Health. Support and assist the Paediatric Infection & Immunity Department in the provision of Paediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) services Provide Clinical leadership in paediatric AMS activities at Clayton, Dandenong and Casey Campuses Contribute to education, research, and training in AMS at undergraduate, postgraduate and specialist levels Contribute to ongoing service improvements, quality, safety and innovation to ensure Monash Health provides high quality, Infectious Diseases services within allocated resource to meet the needs of patients and families Participate in the professional and corporate life of Monash Health by participation in appropriate committees and fora Strengthen AMS initiatives across Casey, Dandenong and Clayton sites About you

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge: Post-specialisation experience in Paediatric Infectious Diseases, microbiology and/or general paediatricsExperience in Antimicrobial Stewardship Proven track record in quality improvement, guideline development, stakeholder engagement and implementation science Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with members of interdisciplinary teams and committees to satisfy the requirements of a paediatric AMS service to optimise patient care What we offer
