- Execute and lead the delivery of Indirect Tax and GST advisory engagements for diverse clients, with a global reach.
- Help to develop and implement our Indirect Tax compliance solutions including the use of data analytics, system implementation and robotics process automation.
- Assist in adequately responding to reviews, resolve disputes and investigations with tax authorities.
- Engage with stakeholders to report on engagement outcomes.
- Lead junior team members on a day-to-day basis, mentor and provide professional development.
- Support the growth of our future practice, develop strong relationships with clients and internal KPMG stakeholders, identify opportunities for future business and shape our future Indirect Tax offerings.
- You are a people-person with a love of sharing your GST and Indirect Tax insight and tailoring your communication appropriately for subject matter experts and clients.
- You are skilled at project management, with a love of big-picture thinking and the skills to see projects from beginning to end. You have excellent time management skills, the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and an eye for detail.
- You get excited about generating innovative ideas that create value, improve processes, and solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of Australian GST at the Senior Consultant or Manager level, and ability to impactfully deliver your expertise to clients.
- Knowledge of GST, from advisory, compliance and technology through to audits and disputes, ideally having worked in a consulting firm environment or in an in-house role.
- An understanding of the Indirect Tax market including emerging trends across key markets and in tax technology, appropriate for a Senior Consultant or Manager role.
- Experience in transactions/deals work, or in relation to Indirect Tax governance, processes or controls would be highly valued.
- You may also be at a consultant level and have a willingness to transition your career.
