The OrganisationYou will be working for the largest local health district in NSW which services a population of more than 900,000 across the region and Lower Mid North Coast areas. The Hospital is a Level 6, tertiary referral, major trauma and teaching hospital and is the largest hospital in the Local Health District with strong, innovative connections to the University of Newcastle and Hunter Medical Research Institute.The Vascular Surgery Service has five consultant surgeons in the unit, that are supported by registrars and junior medical officers.
The Job

• As a Consultant Vascular Surgeon, you will provide contemporary, comprehensive and professional specialist vascular services that are safe, effective, evidence-based and patient-centred
• You will provide support and training to clinicians across multiple disciplines
• You will build and maintain collaborative partnerships to ensure team success
• You will mentor and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate multidisciplinary students and team members
• You will participate in on-call schedules
