What you'll do

This role will be a 12-month full time fixed term contract.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Professional Development, ANZ, your role involves overseeing the engagement, planning, implementation, review, and necessary interventions related to store processes and performance. Your primary objective is to ensure a consistently exceptional customer Contact Lens journey, ultimately leading to an increase in new Contact Lens fits.

 

In this role you will:

  • Ensure consistency in the delivery of best-in-class myopia management, including key tactics to achieve Myopia Management as a standard of care across the Specsavers network.
  • Provide first class levels of customer service to both internal colleagues and external customers through Contact Lens optometry training and development programs.
  • Develop Optometrists and teams through the delivery of a range of activities, workshops, store visits and on-line learning interventions to help drive engagement in both the Contact Lens category, and Myopia Management.
  • Improve operational and clinical efficiencies across allocated regions.

 

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working as an Optometrist (essential)
  • A passion and comprehensive understanding of both Contact Lenses and myopia management (essential)
  • Commitment to driving business change with the proven ability to coach & influence colleagues and customers (essential)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Optometry within a high-volume practice (essential)
  • Flexibility to travel around Australia and New Zealand (essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (good networker)
