About the role
- Based in Jolimont, you'll work alongside an inspiring team of writers, strategists, digital specialists and designers to deliver a range of content initiatives.
- You can capably adapt your skill to application from press releases, stock exchange announcements, capability statements, investor pitches and social media strategies.
- More generally, you'll manage some client relationships and design account strategies, driving commercial outcomes and implementing and executing strong marketing journeys across multiple channels.
- You'll build trust through trusted guidance and exceptional performance.
- You love learning about new topics, and can bring clarity to important and challenging offerings such as mining, engineering, ICT, manufacturing, mining, energy and construction.

- You will be able to demonstrate a portfolio of copywriting that shows the ability to decipher technical information into something that not only 'makes sense' commercially but really defines the value proposition.
- You will be able to delve quickly into the mind of an 'expert', fearlessly exploring topics you may not have previously written about, with the quick thinking required to ask another question to draw out the information you need to get the job done successfully.
- You will be able to build rapport with all levels of business, from C-Suite to trade level, and able to translate technical concepts into meaningful stories.
- You will have experience in running workshops for brand strategy, or at least a skill for public speaking.
- You genuinely get motivated by company growth and where you could grow to personally to support leadership.
- Share our passion for creating a client experience that transcends the norm.
Skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in English, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, Finance or possess equivalent work experience
- 5 years' copywriting experience, preferably within an agency or in-house studio environment
- Experience in investor relations and mining would be highly regarded - salary commensurate with experience
- Possess a corporate portfolio of writing as well as industry diversity or complexity
- Proven ability to research topics and synthesise a variety of sources
- Proven ability to develop, translate and leverage strategic messages for marketing communications tactics
- Strong editing and conceptual skills
- Experience writing for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) also desirable
