Every day, our global team of over 112,000 individuals work together to turn visions for sustainable solutions into reality by connecting with one another and sharing our knowledge.Formula for SuccessAs Contract Manufacturing Manager, you'll support the BASF Agriculture business in achieving its strategic objectives by overseeing the implementation of the sub-regional Contract Manufacturing strategy in Australia and New Zealand. This will involve ensuring compliance for all activities related to Formulation, Filling, and Packing (FFP). Through this position, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's standards of quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.You'll:

• Be responsible for the relationship and management of Contract Manufacturers in ANZ.
• Provide support to Contract Manufacturers on FFP technology, packaging, engineering, best practices in EHS and Quality Management.
• Lead and implement contract negotiation and renewal for Contract Manufacturers.
• Drive Total Cost of Supply optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Carry out regular visits to contract manufacturers as part of relationship management.

Ingredients for SuccessTo be successful in this role, you'll demonstrate in depth knowledge of production / manufacturing and implementing processes within a highly regulated environment. You'll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.You'll:

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Chemistry or similar.
• Be highly diligent with excellent attention to detail
• Good understanding of chemical formulation processes, EHS and Quality management and relevant local regulations.
