Control Systems Engineer

The Role
Our client seeks a skillful Control Systems Engineer for office and fieldwork. You will join their accomplished and vibrant team to deliver real solutions. You will design, develop, maintain, implement, and program new and existing industrial systems. Projects range across many industries including oil and gas, power generation, renewables, water, building management systems, and government. You will also be responsible for:

• Guiding stakeholders in providing fit-for-purpose and accurate engineering services for projects
• Identifying and reporting on risks and hazards
• Identifying opportunities to leverage new tools or techniques to improve the team’s efficiency and productivity
• Keeping up to date with vendor technologies, maintaining currency of professional and technical knowledge

About You 
Your ability to successfully meet deadlines will see you excel in this role. You will also meet the following criteria: 

• Relevant Engineering Degree
• Experience in Functional Designs, Specification development
• Proficient in SCADA and HMI Configuration
• Knowledge of PLC platforms like Rockwell (incl View SE), Allen Bradley, Citect, Miri Telemetry, and Ignition
• Knowledge of Safety Systems
• Experience in Greenfield Design of Automation Systems
• Experience in troubleshooting, fault finding, and commissioning of automation systems, instrumentation, and VSDs
