AddressOur client is a reputed conveyor maintenance services company based on an Iron Ore projected in the Pilbara WA.
The client is urgently seeking 2 x Conveyor Belt Splicers (Experienced &/or Entry Level conveyor technicians) to start work immediately.
Experienced Conveyor Technicians - you are key and valued members of the Operations team. This is a hands-on role responsible for task execution and quality of work.
As an Entry Level Conveyor Technician - you will be provided with practical, on-the-job training and when on site you will gain industry experience from leading Conveyor Technicians. You will work in a small team environment that responds quickly to site needs.
This is a long-term position on a 2/1 FIFO roster ex-Perth. This is an ongoing opportunity for further career development offering a competitive rate.
In this role you will be required to:
• Carry out Conveyor Belt maintenance (belt change outs, inserts, re-splices)
• Any repairs
• Installations
• Refurbishment
• General maintenance
• Replacement of conveyor components
• Equipment operation and shutdown preparation.
The successful candidates will require the following:
• Minimum 2 years + experience working on steel and fabric Conveyor Belts
• Must have rights to work in Australia
• Current Australian Driver’s License - essential
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets – preferred
• HRWL License – Forklift, Basic Rigging, EWP (desirable)
• Australian Trade Certificate (Certificate IV in Polymer Processing -desirable)
• Highest regard for safety and well-being of themselves and other
