Craig's Bakehouse is seeking a dedicated Cook and General Kitchen-Hand to join our bustling kitchen team. This multi-faceted role is perfect for someone who loves to be hands-on with all aspects of food preparation, from baking to making savory dishes.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Prepare various ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and dough preparation.
- Craft savory fillings (pies etc) and assemble pre-made sandwiches and rolls.
- Bake and cook a variety of items following our recipes and quality standards.
- Manage inventory and maintain the organisation of store and cold/frozen stock.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-organised, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Coordinate cooking activities to optimise workflow and efficiency in the kitchen.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Rights to Work in Australia (no sponsorship options available)
- Food Safety handling Certification.
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, ideally in both cooking and baking.
- Strong understanding of kitchen equipment and inventory management.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
