Mountain Heritage has a rich history in Katoomba and as new owners we want to take the dining experience to the next level by creating a destination fine dining restaurant for hotel guests and the public.
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for: Effectively and efficiently running a cooking section in-line with company standards. Assist in the creation and implementation of interesting and popular menu ideas. Inspire and energise the team to be the best they can be.
Follow policies and procedures at all times. Maintain strong relations, internally and externally. Consistently deliver high-quality meals.
Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order. Follow WH&S compliance at all times. We are looking for a Casual Breakfast Cook who: Has a high level of personal morale and appearance.
A positive attitude and willingness to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, productivity and effectiveness! Food Handling Certificate. Tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery and/or equivalent experience in a similar role with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
You will have the ability to lead and influence a kitchen brigade. Ability to work up to 20 hours a week: between 6am - 2pm. (some nights for dinners may be operationally required occasionally)
