Cook/Machine Operators

Our client is an iconic South Australian business who produce gourmet food products. Due to internal promotion & peak production periods, they are looking for Food Production Machine Operators to join their production team located in Tanunda. As a Food Production Machine Operator, you will be responsible for following strict recipes and procedures to produce high end food products. 

Duties:

• Food handling, ensuring HACCP procedures are followed
• Reading scales & prepping raw ingredients
• Following strict recipes, ensuring exact amounts of products are added
• Ensuring quality of products throughout the process
• Operating machinery 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to work between cold and ambient temperatures 
• Sound knowledge of food handling practices 
• Machine operating experience, highly advantageous 
• Able to work in a fast paced environment, while maintaining a high attention to detail
• Able to read scales and follow recipes 
• Able to complete quality/traceability paperwork
