About the role:
At Guzman y Gomez, we believe in authentic flavors and the power of food to bring people together and we’re excited to be transitioning GYG Stafford to our first 24/7 restaurant on Brisbane’s north side! Our Cooks and Crew at GYG Stafford, are front and centre guaranteeing an exceptional guest experience. Crew:
Our Crew members are the life blood of GYG. You are on the front line, greeting guests, taking orders, rolling burritos, re-stocking the fridges, basic food prep, wiping tables, and learning other roles across the team. You’ll get exposure to every aspect of what goes into running a busy, GYG business.
Cook:
The Cook is at the heart of the restaurant operations. You will be preparing fresh and delicious food, problem solving and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavours. You’ll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce the highest quality food for our guests.
What’re we looking for?
- Availability between 6pm – 6am including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Relatable experience in delivering guest service
- Understanding of Food Safety requirements – RSA and Food Safety certificate desirable
