About the Role: As the Coordinator Civil Maintenance and Fleet, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a dynamic team responsible for maintaining the city's road networks, footpaths, rural roads, drainage, Civil Maintenance and Fleet to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing areas such Civil Maintenance, Civil Projects, Workshop, Fleet maintenance, Fleet acquisition and Stores. With a substantial operational and capital works budget at your disposal, you'll play a pivotal role in programming and managing various works alongside senior staff and approximately 40 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team to ensure the effective management and maintenance of the City’s Civil operations.
• Oversee Civil Maintenance, Civil Projects, Fleet Acquisition and Fleet maintenance teams.
• Program and manage operational and capital works projects to enhance the city's presentation.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Qualifications in Civil Engineering or relevant experience.
• Background in local government Civil Maintenance or similar field.
• Passion for enhancing urban networks and spaces and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Additional Details:

• Reporting: Directly report to the Manager of Operations.
• Location: Based at our Works Depot in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
• 9 Day fortnight.

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary ranges between $114,983 to $124,482
