About the role
GroundProbe is extremely proud of our status of an innovative and strategic technology leader. We are constantly innovating, designing and producing new radar and scanning products which are changing the face of the mining and heavy industry sectors as we know it.
As such, our head office in Windsor, Brisbane, is currently looking for a Product Coordinator to support the tactical implementation and improvement of GroundProbe's new products' lifecycle strategies and build market share and profitability of new technologies, services and product features from idea stage to global launch.
To understand the needs and expectations of the market that drive project priorities and support the internal teams to ensure high quality product and functionality delivery that meet or exceeds customer expectations.
What you will be doing
- Gather and analyze information about the overall market environment, prospective customers and competitors to identify opportunities and threats for GroundProbe's new technology launches;
- Gather and understand market and international customer-driven product needs from customer-focussed activities and internal sources;
- Work with functional teams to support the development, implementation and performance of product solutions in line with business strategy from a cross-functional product management perspective;
- Provide necessary technical material and information of new technologies for training and documentation purposes;
- Assist in the voice of customer process for designated product families and ensure the voice of the customer is heard and included in key decisions and trade-offs;
- Work collaboratively with the Software Technical Leads to support the proper implementation and performance of products and features.
- A bachelor's degree in market research or a related field, relevant technology or mining industry experience, and an understanding of the product development process;
- Certification in Program or Project Management Diploma is desirable;
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese is desirable;
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a commercial or technical role working with technology in operations, production, or business systems, preferably with complex products spanning electronics, robotics, software, and ICT disciplines;
- Experience working in a multicultural commercial environment, with an international company is preferred;
