Clarence Valley Council has established a leading and secure waste management facility with another 50 years capacity to serve our community needs. This opportunity is the envy of many North Coast Councils and is the result of quality strategic planning and management over several decades.
We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic and dedicated sustainability and waste management professional to continue this positive legacy and pursue leading waste minimisation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the Waste and Sustainability team comprising an experienced blend of professional and technical staff that provide quality sustainability, Waste and cemetery management services.
This Coordinator role will provide a range of challenges however there are many rewards for an individual who is prepared to explore new opportunities to enhance beneficial actions by both Council and our community through pursuit of Council's sustainability and waste management goals, including some significant and exciting emissions reduction and renewable energy generation projects.
Council wants to hear from you if you believe you can bring the necessary professional, people and contract management experience along with a zest to look outside the square in this changing and essential service area for Council and our community.
