The Colac Otway Shire Council are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Economy and Business Enterprise Department as COPACC Front of House.

As COPACC Front of Houseyou will ensure that Council:
- Provide exemplary customer service.
- Ensure events are prepared and operate smoothly resulting in a successful function/event.
- Provides a customer service experience consistent with Council’s values and best practice standards.
- Is responsive to customer needs from face to face, telephone and digital services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivery of excellent customer service at all times.
- Ensure all appropriate equipment is operational before patrons arrive, e.g. lighting and heating, set-up and equipment for room hire.
- Pack down and clean equipment and rooms after each event and ensure the security of COPACC at all times whilst on duty, especially the foyer/gallery/backstage areas.
- Ushering audiences into performance spaces.
- Assist with administrative and other duties required by the Manager and Operations Coordinator when time is available.
- Provide report at the end of every function of any damage to COPACC assets to COPACC Operations Coordinator.
About You:
To support your success in this role you will:
- A high understanding of, and commitment to, quality customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative, think quickly and solve problems.
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of OH&S requirements as they relate to a performing arts and events centres.
- Knowledge of event and entertainment industry is preferred.
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol or willingness to obtain.
- Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain.
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
Salary information: $38.30 - $40.60 per hour plus superannuation.
