One of the largest, most respected and leading Corporate advisory and restructuring firms is looking for someone to head up their Corporate Advisory Division working in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
This is a multi-award winning firm dealing with medium sized organisations to multi-million-dollar corporates. Assisting organisations to work across a diverse range of industries, it has a proven track record and is a trusted brand across Australia.
The role

In this permanent, full-time position, you will be working closely with the Company Directors and your own best of breed team to guide them through key processes and business activities. You will gain invaluable practical experience by immersing yourself in all opportunities with a diverse range of clients from multiple industries.
You will be able to build your professional network through assisting with business development and client management in all areas of liquidation, administration, turnaround, insolvency and advisory. Working within a dynamic team, you will be given all the support you need in the back-office as well as further studies and dedicated well-being days.
Responsibilities
As a Corporate Advisory Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of clients, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services.
You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and management to drive business growth, improve financial performance, and maintain strong client relationships. You will be given the freedom and autonomy to develop your team as you see fit as well as the client portfolio.

• Have sound business and commercial acumen.
• Have solid experience and understanding in insolvency, restructuring, investigations, and voluntary administration.
• Team Management
• Ability to Developing innovative strategies to solve complex business problems for clients.
• Mentor more junior members of the team
• Use financial modelling, analysis, and other relevant skills to inform decision-making.

Requirements

• An entrepreneurial flare with a strong ethical standpoint and adherence to procedures and best practices.
• Strong network and ability to generate business.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in professional services.
• Previous experience in a similar role or strong history as a Senior Manager.
• A broad professional background and understanding of practical aspects of business operations.
• Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand or equivalent membership.
• A strong understanding of voluntary administration, liquidation, and business trading processes.
• Experience in client relationship management.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
