Corporate Development Manager

It's an exciting time for this PE owned growing and diversifying organisation. The organisation will see significant activity in the coming years and sitting in the Strategy and Corporate Development team, you'll be at the forefront of the action.
We are looking for a Corporate Development/ Corporate Finance Manager to join the team.
Please note: This role is located in Tasmania. You must be willing to relocate.
About the role:
- Lead the delivery of Corporate Development activities, including mergers, acquisitions, investments, divestments, joint ventures, financings and new project developments.
- Undertake research and market analysis to support the origination and evaluation of organic and inorganic (M&A) Corporate Development opportunities.
- Lead the execution and integration of commercial transactions, including preparation of all Board and shareholder investment related materials, scoping and engagement of advisors (financial, legal and technical), financial modelling and valuation analysis, due diligence, structuring, transaction documentation, and preparation of integration plans.
- Maintain the pipeline of Corporate Development opportunities and framework for prioritising opportunities and prepare regular reports to the Executive Leadership Team and Board
- Develop business cases for major projects and organic investments, including all analysis and supporting materials.
- Manage the business' financing arrangements and future capital requirements, including refinancings, capital raisings and structuring, and administration of existing facility agreements.
- Ensure that high quality financial models (including the Corporate Financial Model) are developed and maintained to a level that enables the analysis and evaluation of new and existing business opportunities, and meets shareholder requirements.
About you:
- Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or another related field.
- Professional experience in similar Corporate Finance, strategy, development, or M&A advisory roles.
- Transaction knowledge across acquisitions, investment, divestment and financings.
- Understanding of Corporate Finance, valuation, transaction structuring, and project finance.
- Strong modelling skills
