About The Role
As Endeavour continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer
The Corporate Lawyer is responsible for providing legal advice and governance services to ensure the organisation operates within legal boundaries and complies with relevant legislation.
Duties include:
- Develop and implement legal and compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor emerging legal developments and identify opportunities for improvement in legal and governance compliance.
- Advise on, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts and manage legal documentation.
- Provide legal advice and identify legal and commercial risks.
- Monitor proposed and new legislation and regulatory developments.
- Manage external legal service providers to ensure efficient and effective legal services.
- Assist with privacy matters and develop policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Deliver training programs and communications on relevant legal issues.
- Support company secretary procedures, processes, and administration of meetings.
About You
- Four or more years of experience in Corporate/Commercial law
- Tertiary qualifications in Law
- Current Practice Certificate as an Australian legal practitioner
- Demonstrated capability of building knowledge in other areas of law
- Strong understanding and experience in the commercial and legal requirements of the contract lifecycle
- Highly developed written communication skills for developing legal, policy, and regulatory documents
