The firm employs a team of lawyers across a diverse range of areas within the business.
This is an in house / Corporate Paralegal role, distinct from law firm paralegal work.
The Role
This position is supporting the Investor Relations team in the preparation of a new library of documents relating to any and all dealings with external investors. Typically, when the firm acquires a new asset, it relies on investment from other sources. These partnerships involve a wide range of legal documents that are currently subject of a review. Your role is to work with legal counsel on establishing a new library of documents according to changing requirements of the business and external stakeholders.
The legal team works from the CBD office in Martin Place. You should expect to be working in person in the office and should not assume flexible work for this particular role.
About You
The client requires that the paralegal is available 3 days per week until Xmas 2024. Time off is afforded around exam times and for other university commitments.
Candidates with in house legal experience will be viewed favourably as will those who have worked in law firms previously. Some prior paid legal industry experience is a pre-requsite for this role.
Excel experience is desired. Candidates who can demonstrate prior experience with licensing agreements and other commercial contracts will be viewed favourably.
