Your new role
In your new role, you will provide governance advice, support, and assistance across the agency, contributing to the delivery of divisional objectives. The team are due to complete their quarterly reporting and require extra assistance to produce and publish the final requirements. You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining Corporate Reporting functionalities and legislative compliance obligations
- Overseeing the governance framework, ensuring all required updates are relevant and adhering to the Department's compliance obligations
- Managing the corporate-based legislative register, providing assurance of compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Responding to and actioning corporate governance matters
- Providing business administrative duties to the Corporate Governance and Assets Team
- Coordinating and preparing various agency governance reports in line with government determinations and requirements
What you'll need to succeed
This role would be suitable for someone who has worked as a Business Support Officer or Correspondence Officer. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
- A high degree of professionalism within all communications, including, written and verbal with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in preparing briefings, annual/quarterly reports and presentations
- Previous experience working in State Government is a requirement
- A National Police Check issued within the last 6 months
