About the role
Due to our continued and rapid growth in the Australian market, Securitas has an exciting position available for a full-time Corporate Security Officer to join our business and work for a very well-known Global client in the Melbourne CBD.
The Corporate Security Officer must be able to deliver an exceptional level of security and customer service. Those with a strong customer service background coupled with a Security Licence are encouraged to apply. This role is a Monday to Friday position with a fixed salary.
Minimum requirements for this role include a Victorian Security Licence and a great customer service background.
Key Tasks
- Provide a security service in line with the site SOP’s and customer requirements in order to protect the customer’s employees, property and other assets.
- Deliver the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
- Deliver a consistently high-end, accurate and discreet Security-focused hosting experience to all visitors, guests and employees at the designated site(s).
- Ensure the safety and protection of customer’s people, property and information always, in a knowledgeable and service-oriented manner, ensuring an unobtrusive and comfortable environment.
- Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both the client and Securitas, promoting a positive image of our customer always.
Minimum Requirements
• Must have a valid Security License
• No criminal convictions
• Ability to uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work independently, self -aware, motivated as well as part able to work as part of the team
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be proactive, whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality
• Experience in a concierge/hosting/customer facing role
• Previous security environment experience and/or security awareness training
