The Firm
Our client is a 2nd Tier CA practice lead by entrepreneurial partners who have achieved and who continue to achieve substantial growth. It is a very exciting time for this firm across the board with the Corporate Tax division poised for expansion. In line with their pro-active growth strategy they seek a Corporate Tax partner to drive this division forward with the other Tax Partner but work as a Hybrid across a portfolio of business advisory clients as well.
The Role
This opportunity is for an experienced tax partner probably sitting in a Big 4 firm or 2nd Tier firm being looked over for a pathway to equity ownership. If you are keen and motivated to develop a Corporate Tax division and become an owner this firm will navigate you through and not just spruik a sales pitch. Servicing the firm's rapidly growing and successful clients by providing commercial advice in conjunction with the normal compliance issues, this is an ideal role for someone seeking a new leadership challenge to step up.
The Person
Naturally, a position at this level will require a CA qualification combined with substantial public practice experience and a minimum of 15 years experience in either Big 4 or other 2nd Tier tax environments. It will appeal to someone who has had a combined business services / tax career but has the Corporate Tax bent. You will need to have superior communication, leadership and business development skills as you will be the Corporate Tax lead and developer albeit there will be a significant amount of work naturally referred in by the Brisbane and southern office partners to give you solid momentum. You must be a positive minded person whose focus is providing value added advice to clients.
