The Roles:
- Assist with providing accurate and timely cost and performance reports to management for monitoring and managing the project’s budget.
- Work together with the Contractor to ensure all costs have been allocated correctly throughout the performance of the Works.
- Perform regular forecasting activities to ensure accuracy of the forecast, and that it is in accordance with the Programme.
- Undertake earned value and productivity analysis and reporting in a timely manner.
- Highlight risks and opportunities relating to the forecast.
- Assist with the successful delivery of the Project by providing timely reports and support to the broader Project Team.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Produce detailed cost engineering reports in collaboration with the cost engineering teams of key supply chain members.
- Carry out detailed site measures of works as required.
- Constructively undertake detailed analysis of cost and progress data to enable timely decisions to positively influence the time and cost outcomes of the Project.
- Degree in Finance, Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year (Cost Controller), 5 years (Cost Engineer), or 8 years (Senior Cost Engineer) of highly relevant experience in project controls, cost management, or related fields.
- Demonstrated level of commercial acumen and experience with project control processes and procedures.
- Demonstrated understanding and working experience of Cost Management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent engagement skills, ability to effectively communicate commercial matters to a wide range of personnel, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
