About the role
Reporting to the Technical Service Manager, you will be working within the Engineering and Internal Sales department in a role that strongly emphasises your manufacturing skills. You will have strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes involved in milling, turning, and fitting.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitting and Turning) and demonstrated post-trade experience. You will be from a manufacturing background with a proven ability to understand and interpret complex drawings and standards.
Although not essential, Mechanical fitting experience will be highly regarded.
You will be an avid communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills who is efficient in all Microsoft Office programs.

Main Responsibilities
- Accurately and promptly quoting and tendering on manufacturing projects with new and existing clients.
- Communicate with clients about their project requirements and provide cost estimates.
- Review customer design proposals and evaluate the feasibility of requests.
- Preparation of job packs for and liaising with the production team.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep track of quoting competitiveness.

- Salary between $100k to $110k based on experience, note + super.

- We are flexible regarding the working day but it will be a 38hrs per week role with, when busy, reasonable extra hours required to cope with work loads.
- After probation, which is 6 months, there are options to expand your knowledge by sitting relevant courses for the role that the company will assist with.
