W have a new and exciting opportunity for a full-time Counter Manager to lead the Dior counter at Sephora Canberra! You will be leading the Dior Revolution within Sephora in the Australian market, including our new backstage range created by our very own Creative & Image Director, Peter Phillips. Our ideal candidate is an experienced career retailer with an extensive background in premium/luxury retail management. With strong KPIs, a proven ability to achieve sales and service targets, and demonstrated success in leading a team, you are looking for your next step and ready to join the leading luxury Parfums Christian Dior brand.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Leading the team on clienteling, driving make-up business through in-store eventing and bookings and cold canvassing to raise brand profile in store
- Ensuring the achievement of counter makeup-up sales are in line with business objectives and KPIs
- Setting and driving individual and team objectives
- Ensuring the delivery of the highest level of service to our customers with a client-centric mindset
- Ensuring Dior make-up standards and guidelines are adhered to by acquiring and maintaining a leading edge knowledge of fashion and make-up trends and application through regular Dior training events
- Managing, motivating, and developing team members
- Maintaining operational excellence on counter, sales analysis and reporting, stock management and ordering and maintaining visual merchandising standards to maximise business and team performance
The successful candidate will possess;
- Make-up qualifications is essential
- Extensive retail experience with demonstrated management and leadership capabilities, ideally in a luxury retail environment or cosmetic department
- Experience working with and achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- A strong desire to succeed and a passion for beauty
- Superior selling and communication skills
- Proactive, independent, results/business-oriented and reliable with good time management
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team
- Experience in booking and carrying out on counter event
