The Role
As a Counter Manager at the Elizabeth Arden counter you will provide exceptional customer service by educating customers through makeup application and product knowledge and lead a team of inspired Beauty Advisors. As a permanent part time Counter Manager at David Jones Robina, you will need to work approximately 20 hours per week and be available for Thursday evenings & weekend trade.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive sales and meet targets;
- Lead and manage a team of beauty advisors;
- Educate customers in the features and benefits of specific product ranges; and
- Work on a roster basis, including weekends and extended retail trading hours. A minimum availability of Thursday, Friday and Saturday is required.
Skills and Experience
- Cosmetic or skincare experience essential, coupled with makeup qualification;
- Management experience;
- Product selling experience;
- New customer recruitment skills/cold calling sales experience
- An understanding and/or experience in a consultative sales processes
- A deep interest in skincare
Beauty experience or qualification highly regarded - Previous retail experience is a must and working to targets & KPIs;
- Excellence in customer service along with the ability to be well organized and reliable; and
- Have immaculate grooming.
